Savoir, Ça voir, Voir ça is a series that I started after a thought I had about looking, watching, seeing something. Was it a dream? Was it real? Is it amnesiac? Is it forgotten? Is it true? I am struggling to remember. Each eye is open, each eye is different, each of them looks, sometimes they connect or interact: eye contact. In the blank space of the white paper, these eyes are rigid, through their fixed gaze, they stare at us. They seem to say something that is not easy to understand, like a mathematical formulation or an odd geometry. While I was drawing this series, a sacred geometry of the unconscious appeared, delivered by the conscious, in a dedicated space following a special protocol: using the same paper, pencils of only three colours (black/red/gold) and one rule: each drawing must be different and tell something different around the same thought. The sheet of paper is the two-dimensional area of expression. Savoir, Ça voir, voir ça is a work fed by questions, until the emergence of an answer.

Savoir, Ça voir, Voir ça est une série de dessins sur l’expérience d’une révélation, un moment où je me suis souvenue d’avoir vu quelque chose. Ce qui est important ici n’est pas tellement la chose vue, mais le fait d’avoir vu et de continuer de voir, malgré le temps qui passe. Chaque oeil est ouvert et parfois certains se regardent et interagissent. Ces yeux semblent vouloir dire quelque chose, un message difficile à comprendre, comme une formule mathématique complexe, réservée à des initiés. Quand je dessine, mon esprit délivre une sorte de géométrie profane que je dois restituer. Suivant un protocole précis, j’explore une même problématique, une recherche, une question, une plongée en profondeur dans la pensée.
